Crafted Magazine was inspired by our love for things that are still made the hard way, by hand. Fewer and fewer items are being produced this way with the introduction of new technology and cheap labor. While handmade goods are generally more expensive, they are also typically of the utmost quality, oftentimes lasting a lifetime.
If you value these products as we do, we encourage you to read and support our magazine. We will be featuring interviews with some of the fine folks who started companies who still produce items by hand, and we will also be showcasing some of our favorite items from these manufacturers.
We have written about and plan to write about the following:

We have a strong focus on Made in USA products, as we believe keep jobs and our dollars in the American economy is of utmost importance. It helps this country thrive, and also reduces carbon emissions caused by global shipping.
Our first issue debuted in January 2014. The magazine will be 100% digital at launch, available on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and web. There is no free content on Crafted, we are user supported. To continue to provide you with the best possible content, we need a budget to be able to travel, reinvest in costs, etc. Thank you for your support.

We publish issues every two months.
Subscriptions are $1.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial upon signing up. All subscriptions, including free trials, include access to all back issues. (Issues are not sold individually.) Subscriptions are billed and auto-renewed each month as follows:
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase.
• Payment will be charged to iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the monthly rate at the time of renewal.
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

I love this online mag! Its a great way to learn about "non-big-box" products that are on the market. They tend to focus on quality items and perhaps ones youve not heard of. These seem to be companies that can use our support as their expenses go in to the products rather than advertising. The writing is very well done, and in addition to learning about items you otherwise may not have, you get some insight in to the company owners and the stories behind their businesses. Highly recommend if you are seeking new, quality, small-batch items.
I dig it! Legit app. Love being able to read the pub on my phone. Especially in the easy-to-read format.
This magazine contains very well written articles on a variety of subjects. Each issue takes the reader along as the author explores the inner workings of small hand crafted companies and unique artists. The magazine also includes in depth tutorials on a variety of interesting topics. The photography featured in the magazine is also beautiful! I really look forward to each issue and always learn something new.
Crafted always has great, interesting content and a beautiful layout and design.
This digital publication has some very cool articles showcasing a very diverse range of hand crafted products and the people who are dedicated to mastering those crafts. Interested to see what other products and companies they show!
